Yokosuka Sushi Rollers!

I was lucky to have the opportunity to photograph Yokosuka’s very own roller derby team. What a great bunch of people. Their request was simple: to photograph them in the Bubble Gym at Ikego but make it not look like the Bubble Gym. No problem but with such a large group I was sweating a little while preparing for this editorial style session. They were great to work with and I was able to push my gear to its limits to get the shot I was after. Here are just a few of the images from the shoot. It was hard not to post everything, they were all so awesome!

鎌倉 Kamakura

Kamakura is so iconically Japanese that it made the perfect setting for this family’s photo session. They specifically wanted to show how fast you can go from urban to serene and we did just that.

A Baby on Safari

I came across a very cute book by Adele Enerson a couple of years ago, “When My Baby Dreams.” It is a photo book of her baby sleeping, in worlds made of blankets. Although Adele has a much larger supply of blankets and talent than I do, I could not resist creating one of these images myself. I contacted my model Mackenzie and she said she’d love to collaborate.
